5 January Do not be fooled by spammers or other bad guys January 5, 2015 By Rob Frierson General 0 Don't be fooled by the fakers! We've recently had the unfortunate compliment of SPAMMERS by method of a fake "survey". Apparently somebody got a pop-up message on their computer by a company posing as "SchoolDesk", and they were asking for the person to complete a survey and provide a bunch of contact information such as name, address, email, etc.... THAT WAS NOT US! If anyone claims to be from SchoolDesk or asks for any type of personal information, DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM! We don't do that and never would! We are very fortunate to have grown to such a size that we have attracted the attention of the misfits and bad guys of the world, but please rest assured that your personal privacy is of the utmost importance to us and that we never collect or share ANY information from ANY of our users for any purpose beyond the use of the SchoolDesk websites. So in the end, regardless of who's asking for it, or in what form they are trying to collect it, DO NOT PROVIDE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE AT SCHOOLDESK! If somebody does request information that you are not comfortable with, please contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org, or click the HELP link at the top right of any of your sites (after logging in) or call us any time at 1-888-242-2685 and speak with any of our support folks.
